The Chamber regularly hosts networking events designed to appeal to a variety of business professionals. From breakfast events and PeerGroups to terrific annual events like our Business Excellence Awards, there are plenty of opportunities to connect with other business professionals and promote your business.
Networking Groups
Entrepreneurs in Motion: Friday mornings 8-9 am
Network at Noon: Every second Wednesday of the month from 12-1 pm
We currently run two networking groups. Membership is open to all NCOC members but is restricted to one member per professional category. Please contact the Chamber to inquire about membership.
Looking for a networking group that meets regularly to exchange business referrals? Be sure to check out Entrepreneurs in Motion (EIM). The purpose of the group is the exchange of business leads among the members. EIM Members act as ambassadors for each other and aim to provide at least one new lead for another member each week.
Small Business Mastermind
Looking for your very own "board of directors"? The small business Mastermind is a group of non-competing businesses that meet once a month to talk through challenges, opportunities and best practices. Guest speakers, professional development and shared advice is the order of the day. The group meets virtually on the second Wednesday of most months. Interested in joining? Contact the facilitator
Not-for-Profit Mastermind
Currently meeting every second month in a hybrid setting, the NFP Mastermind is a made up of a variety of NFP leaders who meet to discuss and share challenges, opportunities and best practices as it relates to the world of not-for-profits. Ultimate Networking
Gain access to business networking throughout York Region with Ultimate Networking. Included with your membership, Ultimate Networking allows members of participating York Region Boards and Chambers to attend networking events at exclusive member prices across York Region. Networking is one of the fundamental ways to help small businesses grow into larger, more successful businesses. The all-access pass to more than 300 yearly events is a ground-breaking step for board and chamber members in the region.
