LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

Whether it’s ongoing initiatives such as our new LEARN seminar series, or the resource-packed Business Thrives Conference, the Newmarket Chamber offers a variety of learning opportunities to meet your needs and schedule.

LEARN Seminar Series - Max your business resources

Our latest seminar series is designed to help you build a more effective sales strategy.

Led by expert sales strategist Darren Rabie, President of Focus, a sales consulting and CRM management firm, the nine workshops are designed to answer burning questions that every business owner has, including:

  • How can I ensure my pipeline is always full?
  • How can I reduce my risk and reliance on a few customers or on one key sales rep (especially if you are that one sales rep.)?
  • How can I drive a pro-active culture that creates sales?
  • How do I build a duplicable and accountable sales team?
  • What is the right sales process to show our value and difference in the marketplace?
  • What are the best practice sales techniques every sales person must have?

2018 Schedule: (All take place at the Newmarket Public Library from 9am - 11am)

Thursday, September 20, 2018 - How to Take Control and Drive a Sale (Part I)

Social Media Clinics

In desperate need of some social media triage? Get some expert advice at one of our social media clinics.

Every month, the Chamber hosts a Social Media Clinic. Learn more about specific topics as well as discuss particular social media challenges in a relaxed setting. The experts are helpful volunteers who have extensive knowledge and provide free advice to those in need of assistance.

Each clinic begins with a brief presentation on a specific topic, along with a Q&A.  Participants can bring in their laptops (and lunch, if they wish).

Speak to experts and get tips!
