Tourism Relief Fund:
The Government of Canada has announced the launch of the Tourism Relief Fund. This fund will provide a $500 million investment to support tourism-related businesses and organizations severely impacted by the pandemic. The main goal of the fund is to help businesses and organizations adapt their operations to public health measures while investing in products and services to facilitate future growth.
Eligible applicants must be part of the tourism ecosystem and will include tourism entities that cater mainly to visitors.

Coming soon: Ontario Tourism and Hospitality Small Business Support Grant
The new Ontario Tourism and Hospitality Small Business Support Grant will be eligible to small businesses in the tourism and hospitality sector, including travel agencies, hotels and motels. It will provide an estimated $100 million in one-time payments of $10,000 to $20,000.

Main Street Relief Grant
The Ontario Government’s Main Street Relief Grant is now open to applications. The program provides a one-time grant of up to $1,000 to help businesses in some sectors with the cost of PPE.
Property Tax and Energy Bill Rebates
Businesses that were required to shut down or significantly restrict services due to provincial public health measures can apply for property tax and energy bill rebates, provided in the form of grants, to help with their fixed costs.
COVID-19 Energy Assistance Program for Small Business (CEAP-SB)
The Government of Ontario is making $8 million available to support small business and registered charities who are struggling to pay their energy bills as a result of COVID-19. The COVID-19 Energy Assistance Program for Small Business (CEAP-SB) provides a one time, on-bill credit to eligible small business and registered charity customers to help them catch up on their energy bills and resume regular

Digital Main Street
The Ontario government, in partnership with the federal government, is helping small businesses reach more customers through the Digital Main Street platform. The $57-million program includes shopHERE powered by Google which provides independent small businesses and artists with a quick, easy and no-cost way to get selling online right away.
