Rob Clark

Rob Clark grew up in Newmarket – going to Prince Charles P.S. and both Huron Heights and NHS. In elementary School, Rob may have shown a glimpse of his artistic side in a production at PCPS of Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Mikado in the 80s (hysterical and still on video!). However, it wasn’t until High School, that Rob uncovered a passion for artistic creation.

After High School, Rob went on to pursue a University degree at Carleton University. After a few years in Ottawa and out West trying to uncover what he should do next, Rob returned home to Newmarket and his un-nurtured interest/passion for the creative and enrolled in a Graphic Design/Fine Arts program at Seneca and York.

Rob was always entrepreneurial – while other high schools students were working at Upper Canada Mall or landscaping at Golf courses – Rob and a friend decided they would rather be in charge of their own destiny and started up a driveway sealing business. This entrepreneurial spirit lived on in Rob after graduation from Seneca. He started up RC design and built it from his parent’s basement in Newmarket just over 10 years ago. From basement, to several offices in town – to now owning RC Design in the former Bakery on Downtown Main Street, this is a story of a creative soul meeting entrepreneurial spirit – leading to successful businessman.
