Farmers' Market: Saturday mornings from May to October

Recalls the original market days held for more than a century in Market Square. Farm fresh fruit and vegetables. Baked goods, honey, pickles and preserves. Local artisans and crafters. Master Gardeners on hand to answer gardening questions. Special events including music and horse drawn wagon rides.

 

 

 

Fairy Lake Artisans Festival: Father’s Day weekend

Over 100 vendors including crafters and artisans from all over Ontario
Woodworkers, weavers, tinsmiths, artists, carvers
Clothing, linens, gifts, floral arrangements and much much more
Entertainment, fun and food for the whole family

Annual celebration held in conjunction with the Kanata Festival, Attracts thousands of visitors to the Newmarket area. Music, dancing, arts and crafts and barbeques. Exhibits, demonstrations and sales. Historic recreations of military actions gone by. Spectacular fireworks display at Richardson Park at dusk
